  1. Linda, Yakima Says:

Great sandal for orthotics – From the pictures, the shoe looked kind of clunky. But, I needed something with an enclosed heel to use my orthotic, so I decided to try them. I have gotten used to the look. They aren’t dressy looking but are fine for everyday wear. I have been wearing them without socks or hose. They are quite comfortable, even with the smooth surface of my orthotic which makes my feet feel a little sweaty. It has been great to be able to wear sandals again in the summer.

  2. Karen, California Says:

Pleasantly surprised! I am extremely pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable and required little “breaking in.” They fit my foot well and adjust easily to fit my feet even when they are swollen during the summer. The arch support is great without being overly hard on my feet. I was afraid they would look like “granny” shoes and was pleasantly surprised because they don’t. Even my critical daughters found them suitable for mom.

  3. Margaret, Brea, California Says:

Velcro is not attached in the right spots to expand enough. This shoe was not true to size for me. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and when I put my own orthodic in it fit, but my toes hang over the front edge. The edge around the shoe sits a tiny bit higher than the orthodic, so it is a little bit uncomfortable on my toes and a little annoying. I special ordered these shoes from a retail store and received them the day we left for a trip, so did not test them out before wearing them. (Always try them out at home first if you can). My feet swell after walking awhile and the velcro is stitched so far down on the shoe itself that if I try to adjust the straps looser, there is not enough velcro to hold it in place, so I have to wear the straps too tight across my feet other wise I might have given it a higher comfort rating. I like the color, just wish it was not in Nubuck, but in plain leather. It is one of the nicer looking sandals for one who has to wear orthodic inserts.

  4. Joy, Lakewood Says:

Great shoe and great web site – I have purchased this shoe for my 78 year old mother. My mother has some mobility issues which make it difficult for her to buckle a shoe on the side or in the back. I choose this shoe because we had noticed the heel of her foot would slip off of the shoes with an open back and she required an open toe shoe for her own comfort. Mom walks a lot more secure with these shoes on and states they are the most comfortable shoes she has worn, easy to put on, and they don’t seem to catch on the carpeting, so I bought her a second pair. Cool sandals – These shoes are great. My only problem is that the top strap is just a little short for my high instep. From past experience with Propet, this will be fine in a about a week but all the shoes I have gotten from them in this size have been perfect except the sandals all seem to need just a touch more strap

  5. Arizona Says:

Too short two ways – Would have been great except top straps over the foot are not long enough. The width inside the shoe is fine, just not the straps. The velcro ends way too short. The length seemed a full size shorter than other sandals I’ve ordered in the same size from Propet. I loved the chocolate color though! This shoe is very comfortable and I bought it because it would fit my orthodics, but I have a very small foot and this looked way too clunky and orthopedic for me. Would be a great shoe for siteseeing, though.

  6. Milwaukee Says:

Anne from Milwaukee – Purchased a pair of size 8.5/2E width, which were great post surgery. Then ordered a D width when feet were back to normal. Strap was too short and barely could be fastened, allowing nothing for adjustment. I was very disappointed that I had to return them. Thank you Zappos for great delivery. Pedic Walker – Wonderful – Perfect fit/comfort from very first step. Dr. said no more bare feet or flats again, but feet are small/high and square. What to do? These are absolutely great. Only concern is velcro across instep is slightly short, but remains firm even w/1″ of stick. Great sandals for wide feet! I finally found a shoe to fit my short wide feet with high insteps!! They feel like they were made just for me!! Please ask the company to make more shoes in 4Xwide.

  7. Gilbert, California Says:

Pedic Walker – The shoes were just what I have been looking for. An open toe, airy, good looking shoe as well as very comfortable. This shoe is for my wife who wears a calf high brace on her right foot. The only problem encountered was the upper strap was a little short to fit over the foot/brace. She loves the look, feel and overall comfort of the shoe. I would recommend this shoe very highly.

  8. Dorthy, Texas Says:

Comfy comfy shoes! I wore my Nubuck Pedic Walker sandals this week for the first time. It’s like wearing a favorite pair of house shoes. Size is a little larger than size, but works well. I can enjoy all day because adjusts to edema. I will be buying another pair of these and recommend them to anyone who must have good shoes but would like to wear sandals. Also, I have to have a very wide shoe due to foot having been reconstructed after amputation. Luv ‘em.

  9. Beverly Says:

I found this shoe to be uncomfortable after being on my feet or 6+ hours. Not enough padding in foot bed causing feet to hurt. Had to put inserts in which made a difference. The velcro closures made it possible for me to tighten shoe so foot did not slip and rub. Has a great arch support. The style is kinda clunky looking. Thank you Zappos for such great service. Shopping with you is great. I would like to see more styles in wider widths in sandals and casual shoes.

  10. Marjeanschwartz from Hacienda Heights, CA Says:

Propet Pedic Walker – These are true to size but in my view must be worn with socks as the front of the show where it overlaps rubs on my toe. Also the picture and discription leads you to believe the entire shoe is leather on the top when the ones I received are a rubberized fabric on the toe area which makes the shoe less attractive but more comfortable.

  11. Cynthia Says:

Don’t be afraid! I have never found a pair of shoes with open toes and velcro closure that would reach over my high instep until now. These are VERY comfortable and needed no break in time at all. If you have wide feet and a high instep you should take a chance on these. I love mine. At Last, A Shoe That Fits Me – My Pedic Walkers arrived yesterday. I LIKE them!! Due to amputation/reconstruction of the back of my right foot, the back area is large/bulky. It is hard to find shoes that I can get on. These are great, and are sandals! I have the Dusty color and they are dressy for dresses and skirts. And comfortable, too. Wow…what a wonderful pair of shoes. They just arrived today. I have not taken them off yet! I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Very difficult for me to find a comfortable shoe, but these are very comfortable! No rubbing anywhere–I am ordering another pair. Propt Pedic Walker Sandal – I just got these sandals and am wearing them. I can’t think of any word that could truly describe the level of comfort my problematic feet are experiencing right now. The width of XX(4E) fits perfectly and wish that more shoes would come in this width. They are good looking sandals and will probably buy a different color in the near future.

  12. Connie Says:

Really functional & comfortable – First time using a Propet shoe and so far it’s working very well. I run a farm and am VERY hard on shoes, esp. since I need a WW. This shoe is very comfortable and my feet only hurt if I’ve been doing a lot of walking and standing for a day or two (8 hour plus days). The shoe has great quality and so far is holding up to everyday wet & dirt. I would recommend! Ordering from Zappos is very addicting!

  13. Lucia Says:

Average look and very stiff at the heel – These shoes felt very stiff at the heel. They don’t have much padding around the ankle, just a stiff nylon part that felt very uncomfortable. Their look is average: they look reasonably nicely made, but nothing to take one’s breath away. They’re also very large on the inside, so if you have thin feet they will feel very loose.

  14. Yakima Says:

Propet Slip-on – This is my second pair of the Propet washable slip-on shoes as I wore the heck out of my first pair. This is an easy slip-on-and-go shoe for everyday wear. I have X-wide feet, high arches, plus a tricky knee, and this shoe has a comfortable snug fit, good arch support, and light-weight stability. I purchased the black for winter wear and I think they look nice with black pants. Maximum comfort – This is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I can wear them for extended periods of time, and my feet don’t hurt. I have recommended them to several people and told them wear to buy them. I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve bought four pairs of them, so I can speak with some authority.

  15. Cleveland Says:

Like not wearing shoes at all! I work in a hospital and am on my feet 8 hours a day. My feet would hurt so badly at the end of the day. I tried so many different walking tennis shoes, but none made a difference. I am on my third pair of Propet walking shoes and at the end of the work day my feet don’t hurt at all. I also like the company’s customer service philosophy, they give a six month or 1000 miles guarantee on all of their shoes. If you mail the guarantee in, they send you a very nice pair of tennis shoe sox. I have had my first pair for over one and a half years and well over 1000 miles and they are still going strong!

  16. Susan, Pittsburgh Says:

Royal Blue Not True To Color – I wear Royal Blue scrubs and got these thinking they would match. They don’t. The color seems more of a dusty denim blue to me. They actually clash with my RB scrubs. I will keep them, and wear them with jeans or shorts. Width is just a little snug but I’ve only worn them for one day and with a slip on style, I’d expect the snug fit at first. My very high instep is accommodated well with the design. However, the arch support is below average. Decent looking shoe, I received compliments throughout the day.

  17. Virginia Says:

This shoe is about as comfortable as you can get without wearing slippers. It gives enough support if you have foot/back problems, which I have. It fit great right out of the box and I wear a wide/double wide. Thanks for your great service too.
